Lakers vs. Jazz: Pregame Video Report

Before the Utah Jazz – who are 19-14 despite battling injuries throughout the season – head into STAPLES Center on Friday, we sat down with Lakers assistant coach Frank Hamblen to see how L.A. was approaching the matchup.

Hamblen detailed how one makes a scouting report against a MASH unit that’s missed a collective 99 games due to injury (with stars Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer leading the way), talked about matching the physicality and toughness that’s become a staple of Jerry Sloan’s teams, highlighted the importance of not allowing Williams to both score and pass (Utah’s 62-20 when DW gets 10 dimes) and explained how the Jazz will attempt to take Derek Fisher out of the game.
