Turiaf To Return Against Lakers

Ronny TuriafThe Warriors won’t be quite as thin up front as was expected.

Ronny Turiaf, the former Lakers and Golden State’s backup center, will return to the Warrior lineup after a 12-game absence due to a left knee sprain.

Turiaf started the season opener and scored four points, grabbed six rebounds and blocked three shots in 26 minutes vs. Houston, then played 16 minutes against Phoenix (two points, four boards) before bowing out with the injury.

The Warriors will start Mikki Moore at center, but regular starter Andris Biedrins is expected to be out for a few more weeks with Osteitis Pubis (inflammation of muscular attachments of right groin and abdominal muscles).
