Kobe’s Game Winners

With his swished 17-foot baseline jumper at the 4.8 second mark of the fourth quarter in Toronto, Kobe Bryant delivered a victory to the Lakers, and added another notch to his impressive game-winning-shots belt.

Since being drafted in 1996, Bryant has made 16 regular season game-winning field goals in the final five seconds of either the fourth quarter or overtime, the most of any player during that time. Furthermore, Bryant leads the NBA in shots made to win a game in the final 10 seconds, having now notched 21.

New York’s Carmelo Anthony has the next most game-winning field goals as the clock expires with 14, followed by Boston’s Ray Allen (12) and Vince Carter (11) of the Mavericks.
