Injury Update: Xavier Henry

Miami Heat v Los Angeles LakersLakers Injury Report sponsored by UCLA Health SystemXavier Henry suffered a strained right knee late in the first quarter during the Lakers-Sixers game and will not return.

He exited the game at the 1:14 mark and immediately went to the locker room. He is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday morning.

With the Lakers already missing Steve Nash (nerve root irritation), Steve Blake (torn ulnar collateral ligament), Kobe Bryant (fracture of the lateral tibial plateau) and Jordan Farmar (until two games ago), Henry had assumed starting point guard duties. The Kansas product went back to playing the one with the second unit once Farmar returned against Miami on Christmas Day.
