Made free throws for Nick Young without a miss. He scored a game high 26 points, and topped the 20-point mark for the fifth time in the last six games. In the month of December, he’s averaging 18.4 points and shooting 40.8 percent from the three-point line.
Different starting lineups in the last seven games for the Lakers. With Chris Kaman dealing with an ankle injury and Pau Gasol out with an upper respiratory illness, coach Mike D’Antoni started Jordan Hill at center for the first time this season. Altogether, it was the team’s 16th different starting unit through 31 games this year.
Minutes for Xavier Henry, before exiting late in the first quarter with a right knee strain. Henry had recorded five straight games of double-digit points and was averaging 13.5 points in the month of December.
