Turnovers forced by the Lakers, including seven in the final quarter. Portland ranked fifth in the league in turnovers per game (13.8), but four players coughed the ball up at least three times.
Points for Wesley Johnson, including the game-winning bucket with 6.9 seconds left. Johnson chipped in with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in 36 minutes, while guarding LaMarcus Aldridge on defense.
Plus-rating for Meeks, a team high. He also scored 21 points – his second straight game with at least 20 – and forced Damian Lillard into shooting an airball on the game’s final possession to seal the win for the Lakers.
Straight free throws made by the Lakers during the second half in a game decided by one point (13 for 15 overall, 85.7 percent). Portland made just 11 of their 19 attempts (57.9 percent), despite coming into the game ranked first in the league in free-throw percentage (82.3).
