Lakers-Magic Postgame Numbers

Orlando Magic v Los Angeles LakersWe broke down some of the more intriguing numbers from LAL’s 103-94 win against Orlando:

Minutes for Pau Gasol, who did not start the second half because he was feeling dizzy and nauseous. Postgame, team spokesman John Black said Gasol received three liters of IV fluid and would remain in the hospital overnight for precautionary observation. An update will be given on his condition on Monday.

Plus-rating for Jordan Hill, who finished with a career-high 28 points, plus 13 rebounds. It was Hill’s third career game with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, all of which have come this season.

Assists for Kent Bazemore, a career high. With Jordan Farmar (groin), Steve Nash (hamstring) and Xavier Henry (wrist) all sidelined, Bazemore helped facilitate the offense off the bench in backing up Kendall Marshall.

Steals for Jodie Meeks, a career high. He also added 13 points in a team-high 40 minutes, while also helping with ball-handling duties as most of the team’s playmakers were out with injuries.

Four-point plays for Nick Young this season after he converted one late in the first quarter. He scored 26 points to lead the Lakers bench, a feat he’s accomplished in 34 of his 42 games off the pine this year.
