We broke down some of the more intriguing numbers from LAL’s 107-95 loss against Dallas:
Percentage of field goals made by the Lakers in the second half, when Dallas outscored L.A. 55-41. The home team made just 2 for 15 from beyond the arc in the third and fourth quarters, too, as they struggled to consistently string together any offensive rhythm.
Points for Dirk Nowitzki, which pushed him past Dominique Wilkins for 11th all-time on the NBA’s scoring list. Only one player born outside the United States has more points than Nowitzki (26,678): Hakeem Olajuwon (26,946).
Rebounds for Wesley Johnson off the bench, to go along with six points, three steals and two blocks. In the last two games, Johnson is averaging 11.5 boards, after tying his career high with 12 at Sacramento.
Made field goals without a miss for Brandan Wright. The North Carolina product dunked the ball seven times and all his makes came within five feet or less, as he finished with a season-high 23 points.
Assists for Steve Nash in 19 minutes off the bench. Nash (10,330) now needs five dimes to pass Mark Jackson (10,334) for third all-time in NBA history.
